About two months ago my oven stopped working. I would set the temperature that I wanted but the oven would seldom achieve it. I of course called out the GE repairman who told me that my control board wasn't working and that since my oven is more than ten years old I would need to go ahead and purchase a new one. The comparable GE Range sells for about $1200 today. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled at the aspect of spending even half of that to get a functioning oven again. I did some surfing and found FixYourBoard. I sent in my control board and they fixed it quickly, even replacing some of the components that were known to fail and re-soldered some of the connections that were clearly cracking away. They fixed my board and I had it back in less than a week. My oven works like it's new again and the price was very reasonable! I appreciated their work enough to want to give them a good review, so there you go.
Ok, found out our older GE oven control board had died, and no parts were available anywhere. A blog on repairs suggested these folks, and ...well...wow. Control board returned to us VERY quickly...it works beautifully, and has a warranty! Highly recommended!
Fantastic service - thanks guys! We were faced with having to replace our GE range as the board was no longer available. FYB repaired my board within two days of it arriving there, even replacing a part that was not broken but may break in the future. Worked perfectly when I reinstalled it. Literally saved me a thousand bucks.
I have an old GE slide in range and the control board went out last month. There was not a replacement board and the board is obsolete. I sent it to FixYourBoard and had it back in about 5 days. I was impressed and will certainly use them again and recommend them if one has a board that needs repair. Two thumbs up! For me a very positive review.
